I was on vacation in a sleepy little Mexican fishing village in 2002 with my husband when we met another American couple – the wife was wearing the coolest silver jewelry and I figured she got it in town and asked her where she got it. Turns out she was a rep with his company – she gave me a catalog to take home with me.

When we got back I found out that I would be laid off from my corporate finance job as a finance manager right around Christmas! I had already been working on my teaching certificate since I wanted to be on a more kid-friendly schedule so I decided to teach part-time in the Spring at a local high school. One night after flipping to QVC and seeing what seemed to be THOUSANDS of ladies buying sterling silver jewelry over the phone, I picked up that catalog again and made a call to my friend from the Mexican trip. Figuring I had the summer to give it a shot, I started my sterling silver business in June of 2003. After running my business part-time and teaching part-time I finally quit my teaching job and went full-time in the summer of 2004 and I haven’t looked back!!! I set a goal for myself to be a top seller and as you can see above I have been in the top 25 nationwide every year that I have been a rep. I can show you how you can attain your personal goal as a rep – it can range from making enough to cover that car payment or allowing you to stay home altogether as I do and be there to raise your family!

After five and a half years I decided to switch companies – it was VERY tough. I LOVE the jewelry from my previous company and I made a lot of friends. But I could no longer offer the same opportunity to my new recruits that I had. It was time for a change!
